Tuff Stuff® Overland Truck Bed Rack - Adjustable & Universal

Universal Fit. 800 lbs Static Load. Heavy-Duty Powder Coat.

Maximum Functionality & Durability

Introducing our heavy-duty truck bed rack, designed for maximum functionality and durability. Whether you're hauling heavy equipment to the job site or loading up camping gear for a weekend off the grid, this rack has you covered.

This rack features a unique sliding center rail which allows it to be installed on various widths of beds, from full-size Ford F350s to mid-size Toyotas. It is available in two sizes to perfectly match your setup.

Why Tuff Stuff Built this Bed Rack:

The Pain: Most truck bed racks are vehicle-specific, meaning if you buy a new truck, you have to buy a completely new rack. Furthermore, many racks lack the structural strength to safely carry rooftop tents while driving off-road.
The Tuff Stuff Solution: A truly universal, adjustable bed rack. Using an innovative sliding center rail system, this rack expands to fit almost any truck bed. It's built with heavy-duty 1.5" tubing to easily support a massive 800lb static load capacity.

Key Features: Tuff Stuff Bed Rack

Universal Adjustable Fit

Uses a unique sliding center rail allowing the rack to be installed on various widths of beds from full-size F350s to mid-size Toyotas.

Massive Load Capacity

Engineered for heavy gear. Confidently supports an 800 lbs static weight capacity (parked) and 650 lbs dynamic capacity (moving).

Heavy-Duty Tubing

Built rugged with a robust tube diameter of 1.5 inches (the adjustable sliding center tube is 1.25 inches) for unyielding rigidity.

Powder-Coated Finish

Professionally powder-coated to ensure a long-lasting, rust-resistant finish and extreme protection against the elements.

Two Size Options

Available in lengths of 40 inches (ideal for Trailhead, Delta, Alpha II tents) and 51 inches (for larger rooftop tents).

Clamp-On Installation

Features "Lock-in Place" brackets that securely squeeze the sides to the bed lip, generally requiring no drilling for standard trucks.

Toyota Rail Compatible

Perfectly aligns with Toyota factory cargo rail systems. Simply add custom 3/8" T-nuts (purchased separately) for an instant fit.

Accessory Ready

Easily mount sand tracks, farm jacks, RotopaX cans, shovels, and more directly to the sides of the rack for off-road adventures.

Built for the Toughest Adventures

This rack features a heavy-duty tube diameter of 1.5 inches (with the center adjustable tube at 1.25 inches), meaning it is designed to hold heavy loads safely. The distance from bar-to-bar is 48 inches.

The rack sits 14.5 inches from the top of the bed rail to the top of the rack, providing ample clearance for gear in the bed while keeping your rooftop tent aerodynamically tucked behind the cab.

Tuff Stuff Overland Bed Rack Installation

Quick Install Steps:

  1. Remove the two sides and the two crossbars from the packing.
  2. Place the crossbars into the Tubes on both sides of the side brackets, do not lock in place.
  3. Have someone help you place them on your truck bedsides.
  4. Use the provided "Lock-in Place" brackets to squeeze the sides to the bed lip. (Note: Toyota models use factory cargo rails requiring separately purchased 3/8" T-Nuts).
  5. Once you have adjusted the sides to fit perfectly, lock the nuts down for the cross brackets and tighten the sides.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Can this fit onto any truck?

Yes, this rack features a universal mounting system. The sliding center rails allow it to expand and contract to fit everything from mid-size trucks (like Tacomas) to full-size trucks (like F350s).

+ Which Tuff Stuff Overland tents can be used with this rack?

The 40" model perfectly fits the Trailhead, Delta, and Alpha II tents. If you have a larger tent, we recommend selecting the 51" RTT Bed Rack option to ensure it supports your needs.

+ What can I place on top of these crossbars?

While they are primarily designed as a base for Roof Top Tents, you can mount almost anything to the top of this rack, including lumber, piping, kayaks, or cargo baskets.

+ Can we mount other accessories to the mount?

Absolutely. You can easily mount sand tracks, farm jacks, RotopaX fuel cans, and shovels to the sides of the rack to maximize your off-road storage capabilities.

+ Can I use my tonneau cover and my tent rack at the same time?

No, unfortunately, the mounting system requires access to the bed rails, meaning you must pick one or the other. We are working on a rack design that will allow for the use of both at the same time in the future.

+ Can I use this rack with the Jeep Gladiator?

Yes! This universal rack perfectly fits the Jeep Gladiator with absolutely no modifications needed.

Successfully bridging the gap between Bible Study Guide and Graduate level hermeneutics
Format: Hardcover
As the tag line of my review suggests, this book is more than just another Bible study guide, but not a Graduate level text on hermeneutics. That is the stated goal of the authors, and I do believe they achieved that goal very successfully. I am not a trained theologian. I am just a Christian layman who wants to understand how to properly interpret the Word of God, using a systematic approach that is consistent and faithful to the Reformed Protestant traditions. This book is helping me get there, as long as I am ready to put in the work that comes with the content. I'll let the authors themselves describe what they mean by that... "Plunging into the Word of God is similar to sitting down at a meal. We expect to eat something nourishing, something substantial, and something appropriate to our maturity level. We want to dig into the real meat. But often we are able only to come up with baby food—soft mush for infants. This is not a reflection on the Word of God, which is loaded with meat, but rather a reflection on us and our inability to extract the meat and enjoy it. Indeed, some Christians have become so accustomed to baby food that they no longer desire the stronger food. What about you? Do you long to dig deeper into God’s Word? Do you long for a more substantial diet? Our goal in this book is to help you to 'eat well.' ... God wants to have deeper and more mature conversations with you, but if you are tied to superficial and surface readings of the Bible or if you always assume that you have already seen and understood all there is, then your relationship with God will tend to stay at the same level. ... If you want to hear and understand some of the deep and wonderful truths that God has placed in Scripture for you—if you desire to pull out of God’s Word some of the serious 'meat' he has placed there for us to sink our teeth into—you will have to exert considerable effort. It takes work—hard work! And you, the reader, have to decide whether you are content with shallow 'baby food' that comes from casual reading or you want to work for the 'mature food' that comes from serious reading." Duvall, J. Scott; Hays, J. Daniel. Grasping God's Word, Fourth Edition: A Hands-On Approach to Reading, Interpreting, and Applying the Bible (pp. 37-38). Zondervan Academic. "But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." - Heb. 5:14 Semper Reformanda

Highly Recommended
Format: Hardcover
If you are interested in rightly interpreting the Bible I highly recommend this book! It is easy to read and understand. It has "assignments" for each chapter to practice what you've read. It takes you step-by-step on the methodology used by theologians to understand the meaning of scriptures in context, letting scripture interpret scripture. Excellent book!

Grasping God’s Word
Format: Kindle
This book opened my eyes and mind in studying God’s Word. I appreciated the breakdown by genre, and the steps to help me ‘grasp’ God’s word. It has helped me in my private devotion time.
